According to Rhode Island Monthly, September 2008, Oak Hill Pawtucket was rated as one of the top neighborhoods in the Providence area in which to live. The article states "really a northern extension of the East Side, but with lower Pawtucket taxes and "gasp" on-street parking, Oak Hill has long been the savvy place to land for university types looking for a quieter, less expensive alternative".

Oak Hill does offer an alternative "value-play" to the East Side.  The setting looks the same as the East Side with charming older homes.  You would not even know you were not on the East Side of Providence.  Here is the difference though - you get a lot more for your money in this Neighborhood and once you live here, you will understand how important that overnight parking really is!
